Over the last decade, Fort Dorchester High School has received in more than $30,000.00 in donations from our community partners that have been used to improve your students' educational experience. This includes grants to support clubs & teacher needs, furniture and equipment for the media center, scholarships to college, and much more. This can only continue with your support while shopping at these partners. If you shop at one of the following:
- Publix
- Lowes Foods
- Harris Teeter
- Amazon.com
You can help earn extra funds for the Fort Dorchester High School and the Fort Dorchester High School PTSA by linking your purchases when you shop. It will only require a minimal effort on your part and provide a large payoff to the students at Fort Dorchester, please take the time to sign up and pass along this information to your neighbors and friends! Below you will find out how to access each partner's program. Thank you for supporting the fort!
Publix: Go to publix.com and either sign into your Publix account or create a new account for your family. In your new account under “My Publix Partner” select Fort Dorchester High School, North Charleston, SC, and save. When you or a member of your family checkout at the store all you need to do is enter your phone number and that will make your transaction eligible for a donation to FDHS.
Lowes Foods: If you do not have a Lowes Fresh Rewards cards card you will need to stop at Lowes Foods and pick up a Fresh Rewards card from customer service and then go to rewards.lowesfoods.com and select the correct option on that page. Please be sure to enroll in the “Cart to Class” option as this is where FDHS will receive our donations! When you or a Family member shops at Lowes Foods please scan your Fresh Rewards Card or enter your phone number to make your transaction eligible for donation to FDHS!
Harris Teeter: If you do not have a VIC card stop at Harris Teeter and show a photo ID at customer service to obtain and register the card. While you are registering your card you will find a school search box where you can enter 2306 Fort Dorchester HIGH School. When you check out you will either need to scan your VIC card or enter your phone number as your alternate ID. PLEASE REMEMBER WITH HARRIS TEETER EVERY AUGUST YOU MUST renew your link to the school to which you wish to have the funds donated. In August go to harristeeter.com/user/login add your email and password and click on the School Search box and start entering the first 6 letters “Fort Do”rchester High School, highlight and click on 2306 Fort Dorchester HIGH School, then click the green box “ADD A SCHOOL” and you should now see our school added under current schools you are linked to. When you or a family member shop either scan your VIC card or enter your phone number to make your transaction eligible for a donation to FDHS.
Amazon.com If you shop at Amazon, for all eligible products you purchase Fort Dorchester High School will receive a 0.5% of the sales. Items will indicate if they are eligible for the program and you will find the purchasing process slightly different, however, there will be NO difference in product cost or delivery and it does not make a difference if you are a Prime member or not. OK, here is the big difference, the web address for their donation program is: smile.amazon.com! Once you get to this new address everything works the same. The first time you log in on the new site you will be prompted to choose a charity, please choose “Fort Dorchester High School PTSA.” As long as you continue to use smile.amazon.com, FDHS will continue to receive a credit for your purchases.
